Objective

The objective of this course is to provide general knowledge of the legal aspects of data protection and privacy in the European Union, in preparation for the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) certification provided by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

This is an introductory course geared toward professionals preparing for the CIPP/E exam. The CIPP/E certification provides the legal skills and knowledge needed to perform data protection and privacy-related functions both nationally and internationally.
